Talk to any writer and most will say they were readers first, then became writers.  My story is the opposite. I started writing when I was eleven but wasn’t much of a reader.

Buried deep in my cabinet lurks a stack of notebooks full of bad, bad poetry. I keep them to remind me. Reading makes better writing.
